BiographyKevin is the Procurement Officer with Washington State University Global Health Program - Kenya. He holds a Bachelor’s in Purchasing and Supplies Management and Master of Science degree(s) in Procurement and Logistics, both degrees from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya. Between joining WSU-GH Kenya (2014 – 2017), Kevin worked as the Head of Procurement and ICT Department at the Veterinary Laboratory Sport Club.
Personal StatementI believe in having set targets and working toward meeting and even surpassing these targets confidently through commitment and creativity. I embrace the concept that having the right supplies of the right quantity and quality at the right place and time is essential in supporting public health research. My procurement training and significant IT backgrounds makes me a well-rounded utility person at WSU Global Health - Kenya. Besides research, I indulge in music, billiards and swimming.

Kevin manages procurement for WSU Global Health - Kenya, which entails planning for cost efficient and effective acquisition of supplies and services and consequent coordination in distribution of supplies. He is also equipped with basic ICT skills that ensures connectivity in the office.
Kevin draws his motivation from the various fields of research that are conducted at WSU Global Health - Kenya toward improving public health. This calls for efficiency in procuring supplies and services that allows for field and Lab work to proceed seamlessly.
