Global Health - Bangladesh

The Paul G. Allen School for Global Health runs collaborative research projects with the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr, b) located in Dhaka. icddr, b is an international research organization committed to solving public health problems facing low- and middle-income countries through innovative scientific research – including laboratory-based, clinical, epidemiological and health systems research.

The primary focus of this Allen School collaborative research is to address the problem of antimicrobial resistance using a One Health approach. In this alliance we provide the utmost priority to the values of equity in health and opportunities for all people through research, training/education, and outreach activities. Our long-term goal is to find effective and scalable interventions to control antimicrobial resistance.
