Seattle Sounders FC Supports Clean Water Partnership of Five Washington Organizations

In many areas of the world, women and girls walk an average of six kilometers to collect water for their families that often isn’t even safe to drink. Five Washington-based organizations—Washington Global Health Alliance (WGHA), PATH, University of Washington, Washington State University Paul G. Allen School for Global Animal Health and World Vision—are partnering to improve the health and livelihoods of thousands of women and girls and their families in rural Tanzania through the “Water, Wealth and Health” program.
