Infectious Diseases and Immunology
Centered in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology with strong ties to the School of Molecular Biosciences, this program blends rigorous academic training with experiential learning.
- More than 40 masters and doctoral students. Both on campus and in the field, students interact with top scientists, practitioners, and leaders in global animal health.
- Generous support. The program has been supported by grants from the National Institutes of Health and Wellcome Trust. As the program expands, new funding from the Gates Foundation will increase student stipends, positioning the University as a powerful competitor for top students among its primary peer institutions.
